1. Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Evidence-Based Nursing Care Among Nursing Students in Selected Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria
This study explores the knowledge, attitude, and practice (KAP) of evidence-based nursing care among nursing students in selected tertiary institutions across Nigeria. It assesses students’ understanding of evidence-based practice (EBP) principles, their attitudes toward integrating research evidence into clinical decision-making, and the extent to which they apply EBP in practical nursing scenarios. The study identifies barriers to effective implementation, including limited access to research resources, inadequate training, and institutional challenges. Findings aim to inform curriculum development, strengthen nursing education, and enhance the delivery of safe, effective, and research-informed healthcare services in Nigerian healthcare settings. This research is particularly valuable for nursing educators, healthcare policymakers, and stakeholders seeking to improve the quality and professionalism of nursing practice.
